Nearly Ninety Flights Connected to Epstein Allegedly Came to or from UK Airports

Analysis has found that close to 90 flights linked to Jeffrey Epstein are said to have touched down at and left UK airports, with some allegedly transporting British women who assert they were abused by the found guilty child sex offender.

Flight Logs Show Trail of Travel

The flight logs were part of thousands of court documents and files made public by Epstein’s estate that have been made public over the last year. The investigation found 87 aircraft movements connected to Epstein – featuring many that were hitherto undisclosed – landing or taking off from UK airports between the early 1990s and 2018.

Onboard Individuals and After Guilty Verdict Travel

Unidentified women were listed among the individuals flying to and from the UK. Crucially, 15 of these British airport journeys took place following Epstein’s 2008 conviction for soliciting sex from a underage person.

“It was ‘astonishing’ that there had never been a ‘thorough probe in the UK’ into his activities in the country,” said American attorneys acting for hundreds of Epstein victims.

British Victims and Legal Proceedings

A statement from one of the UK-based survivors was instrumental in convicting Epstein’s accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell of sex trafficking of minors in the US in 2021. However, that victim has not been approached by police in the UK, according to her Florida-based lawyer.

In a statement, the London's Metropolitan Police stated they had “not been provided with any new evidence that would support reopening the investigation.” They added, “If new and relevant evidence be brought to our attention, encompassing any arising from the release of material in the US, we will evaluate it.”

Ongoing Document Release and Judicial Decisions

Proposed legislation to disclose every document held by the US government in regarding Epstein passed the House and Senate last month. The US justice department has until 19 December to adhere to this requirement. A vast number of documents are anticipated to be released.

In a related development, a US judge ordered last week that the department could publicly release case files from a sex-trafficking case against Maxwell, Epstein’s close friend, who is currently serving a 20-year jail term over the allegations.
