The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair came face-to-face to promote the upcoming bout.
Ex two time world title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As both boxers engaged in the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually happening.
